    Room Temperature Caviar

Neiman Marcus Café, step up your game. That sturgeon didn’t consent to having its ovaries scraped just for you to trot out a room-temperature caviar service with three meager toast points.

🏆 Karen Review: Room Temperature Caviar

Karen Level: 9.8/10 — Elite Performance

This is a beautifully executed Restaurant Karen. She didn’t merely complain about the caviar — she managed to combine culinary criticism, animal-rights outrage, portion-size indignation, and an implied threat to Neiman Marcus’ entire food-service operation in a single sentence.

    Scorecard:

    • Entitlement: 10/10 — “Step up your game.”
    • Indignation: 10/10 — Apparently the sturgeon is also filing a complaint.
    • Audacity: 10/10 — Three toast points? An unforgivable offense.
    • Specificity: 10/10 — She came prepared with a temperature complaint and a fish ethics argument.
    • Karen Awareness: 2/10 — No evidence whatsoever that she recognizes the irony.

    🥇 Overall Karen Performance: 9.8/10

    Verdict:
This isn’t just a complaint. This is a Michelin-starred Karen meltdown. The combination of room-temperature caviar and “the sturgeon didn’t consent” elevates this from ordinary complaining to Karen Excellence™.

    Our Opinion:

    “I’m not saying you’re a Karen… but this performance deserves a scorecard.” 😂

  • Napkin Usage Fee

    Napkin Usage Fee

I am absolutely fuming right now. My wife and I went out for a simple barbecue dinner and ordered a basic $41 meal of ribs and sides to share. The waitress dropped off this $234 bill with a handwritten note telling me to pay it and cry! They charged me a $20 air conditioning recovery fee and a $15 napkin usage fee! A NAPKIN USAGE FEE?? I used one single paper napkin the entire meal! When I demanded to speak to the manager about these absolutely fraudulent hidden charges he laughed in my face and threatened to call the police if I did not pay the full amount immediately. I feel completely scammed by this shady smokehouse. Am I overreacting for wanting to dispute this entire charge with my credit card company and report them to the Better Business Bureau?

    $40 Tip on $500

We went out to dinner as a group and the bill came out to $500. We left a $40 tip, feeling good that we were still able to give something, but the server didn’t seem happy at all. She actually said she was expecting at least $120.
When we asked to speak to the manager, she quickly tried to brush it off and said she was joking, but there was no smile or anything to suggest that.
Now I’m just wondering if $40 on a $500 bill is considered enough. Expecting $120 feels a bit unrealistic to me, but maybe I’m missing something
