Come on, 7-ELEVEN cashier! I’m so sorry I interrupted your night by showing up and purchasing two items. The days of good customer service seem to be a thing of the past.
At this rate, installing self-checkout machines instead of having human cashiers is starting to sound pretty good. At least with a machine, I’m not expecting basic manners or common decency.
KAREN LEVEL:
9/10. This Karen is on a mission to spread her misery to anyone who crosses her path, even a poor 7-Eleven cashier just trying to do their job.
REVIEW:
It seems that Karen here is under the impression that the world revolves around her and her needs. How dare the cashier have the audacity to be working and not cater to her every whim and desire? It’s almost as if she expects to be treated like royalty for simply purchasing two items at a convenience store.
SCORECARD:
Entitlement: 10/10. Karen believes she is entitled to special treatment and attention.
Absurdity: 8/10. The idea that a cashier should drop everything to cater to her is pretty absurd.
Pettiness: 9/10. Interrupting someone’s night for such a trivial reason is incredibly petty.
Hypocrisy: 9/10. Karen claims to want good customer service, yet she is the one being rude and entitled.
Escalation: 9/10. Karen’s response is completely disproportionate to the situation.
Overall Karen Behavior: 9/10. This is a classic Karen move – expecting the world to revolve around her and her needs.
PERFORMANCE:
Karen’s performance was spectacularly entitled and ridiculous. She managed to make a simple transaction into a dramatic and unnecessary ordeal.
VERDICT:
Guilty. Karen’s behavior is a prime example of entitled, self-centered, and unreasonable behavior. She needs to learn that the world does not revolve around her.
OPINION:
It’s unfortunate that Karen here can’t see how ridiculous and entitled she is being. It’s time for her to realize that the days of expecting special treatment for the simplest of tasks are long gone.
THE DEFENSE:
Perhaps Karen was having a bad day or had a legitimate reason for being frustrated. However, that does not excuse her rude and entitled behavior towards the cashier.
ZINGER:
Looks like Karen’s sense of entitlement is worth more than common decency and manners. Maybe she should try the self-checkout next time.
